Excellent

So yeah..........I wanted to post about my most excellent and awesome birthday yesterday. I would have posted it yesterday but I was dead tired when I came home and went to bed early. So here's the low-down........

I arrived at work at 9am to find my desk decked out in various birthday decorations. Our meeting of our teams "Birthday Club" was not scheduled until 1:30pm but I was rather ravenous and cheez-its just weren't cutting it that morning so we met at 10:00am. My supervisor made me a birthday cake and we ate it and chatted and had a good 20 minutes away from work. I got a crown to wear for the day and it was cool. After work I headed over to the Olive Garden where I was to meet my home teacher Tomas and also Toby and the various people whose presence they requested at my birthday dinner gathering. So many people were there it was so cool! I was very happily surprised. We ate food, chatted, and had a good time. It was very fun and I thank everyone that was there for being a part of it. You have made me more happy than you know.

In store for this weekend is a visit from my mom who will be making me a roast beast dinner and we're leaving it open for desert because I'm unsure whether or not I would like traditional birthday cake. In other news, Caleb called me today and we got to chat and that was nice. Also, I have given the perfect present idea to my friends Heidi and Peter. To make a short story even shorter they will be making me copies of all the old chorus tapes and CDs from high school for me. My copies have become thrashed because of overuse and underuse. So I am greatly looking forward to that. I have very fond memories in Redding travelling over to Shasta College listening to chorus tapes. In particular the '93/'94 school year. I miss singing in the car!!!!!!! Anyway, that is it for now. I look forward to seeing everyone next week and will miss you at church because family is in town. I love you all more than Jack in the Box tacos (most of the time j/k)
